Custom Reclaimed End Grain Beam Blocks & Reclaimed Timbers

Description

This corporate headquarters, located in Southern Oregon, features custom reclaimed Douglas fir beam blocks for an end grain wall paneling finished with a dark stain. Custom-sourced reclaimed decorative timber beams add a heavy industrial style to the space.

Description from Arkitek's Christoper Brown:

"1661 [Pawnloan Offices] was a unique project, an adaptation of a local newspaper printing press into an e-commerce based office. The client sought to integrate an industrial design aesthetic with re-purposed heavy timbers from regional barns (sourced by Anthology Woods). A sand-blasted timber end-grain art mural (completed by Forest-City Made) and reclaimed heavy-timber recreational area (by Treeborn Timbercraft) compliment the vision and create a space rich in phenomenon and texture.”
