Description

An expansive restaurant within the Mohegan Sun Casino, TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge transports visitors into a mystical realm. Dimly lit and extravagantly decorated, this notable restaurant designed by Rockwell Group is more of an experience than an eatery.

Entering the restaurant involves a stroll through a dramatic hallways clad in Reclaimed Stout’s Legacy Redwood paneling, arranged as slats in varying widths for a rustic, ancient effect. Visitors enter a large dining room with a 16-foot-tall statue of Quan Yin, the Buddhist goddess revered by the Chinese, surrounded by a live Koi pond. Here, guests are immersed in a culinary world filled with fresh sushi, savory noodles dishes and lavish seafood plates.
